Poor quality and bad warranty

I bought a Fossil watch in May. It looked great when new, but recently the golden tone of the bracelet links is rubbing off after only 4 months of use. It now looks cheap and awful. I just read the warranty and it states that ANY DEFECTS in materials and workmanship of battery case, crystal, strap or bracelet are NOT COVERED.
