On 3rd Jan I sent for a free trial of the Beri Lean Slim Ultra Acai Berry Diet Supplement. The product never arrived but I thought this might have been because of the New Year holiday period. I knew that if I did not cancel within 14 days a payment for the full course would be taken from my debit card so on 13th Jan I emailed the company to inform them that I had not received the sample and wished to cancel the course, requesting that my details were erased from their records. I stipulated that no further payments were to be taken but on 20th Jan a payment for £57 was taken from my account. I phoned their 'customer care' on 0808 1683674 to ask for a refund but was told that this would not be possible as I did not inform them by telephone. They even denied having an email address but this is clear on their advertisements as "[email protected]". I was told that the account has now been closed but it still rankles that I have lost £57 and did not even receive a free trial to begin with!!!
