WE booked a vehicle with CARHIREUK or www.car-hire-uk.com in August we booked a small group B vehicle and on arrival we ended up with a New mercedes B class sport thing, far too big for us, we just wanted to visit the grandkids, ok the car was a lovely car, but impossible to park, we couldnt move it around, we had trouble getting in and out of car parks, and filling with fuel, customer services was terrible its an india call centre, they very helpful to be fair to them and apologize for the problem etc etc, however refused any other vehicle, we demanded our smaller car which we booked, but they said we have been upgraded our rental vehicle free of charge as they had reached capacity and sold out in the class we wanted.
we were so annoyed and left with no optiion but to keep the vehicle, very frustrating, why do car rental companies upgrade you, just give us the car we book!
