IN JANUARY I PAID FOR A TICKET GOING FROM LONDON TO CHICAGO FROM THE COMPANY WEBSITE WWW.LASTMINUTE.COM. THIS WAS A TRANSIT FLIGHT FROM FRANKFURT, I WAS TOLD TO PICK UP THE TICKETS AT THE AIRPORT BEFORE DEPARTURE.
I PICKUP MY TICKET ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT AN OVERBOOKING HAD OCCURED AND I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FLY AND TO CONTACT THE TRAVEL AGENCY. I CALL THE TRAVEL AGENCY ONLY TO BE TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO PAY AN EXTRA 145 POUNDS!!! TO CHANGE THE BOOKING. THE AGENT HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME I SHOULD HAVE ARRIVED A LITTLE EARLIER FOR MY FLIGHT "FIRST COME FIRST SERVE". I WAS DENIED A REFUND AND TOLD TO WRITE THEIR CUSTOMER RELATIONS DEPARTMENT FOR ANY COMPLAINTS. NEVER GOT MY MONEY BACK.
