SIYC
Scam

I am writing in regards to experience on online dating site. The site is called Sex In Your City and is the biggest scam I have ever seen. These folks offer you free membership and entice you with emails from members that do not exist. Well, they may exist but I personally see them as guy from India or somewhere sitting at a computer with a list to respond to as their diction is awful. At first, to lure you in, they are pretty articulate although it does seem obviously scripted. They site is full of beautiful, younger womens pictures, many of which are celebrities and porn stars. They try to get you to subscribe with promises of meetings, which will never happen as they always have reason to abandon at last minute but promise to meet later.

When I confronted the management of the site and demanded my money back I got rude and gave rude until they canceled my sub and told me I was rude but getting a refund.

Within a couple hours I was at my bank to make cash withdraw and found my account frozen. There were 3 charges for more $350.00 that I did not authorize. I immediately went into branch and had them figure out what these charges, that I did not make, were. Alltel Corp and an outfit that does online billing (I can give you that name as well) were the culprits. I had my bank card destroyed and started calling the companies on these fraudulent charges. Keep in mind that I used this card 1 time online, with SIYC. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out I angered them and YIKES! I have kept all correspondence and have many screen captures of phony ladies. Yes, they do the phony men, too. I also have many testimonials in regard to SIYC. All the same story, pretty much. Smarter folks saying; Hey, what the heck just happened? Erroneous charges, disrespect, fraud, the list goes on.

I do not understand how this could be considered legitimate business or allowed operation in the U.S.

What is happening to the average guys rights? I am vet, disabled and on fixed income. This froze my account and will probably cause my electric bill to bounce, as this was lean month for me. It will be days or worse before I can fix this. Alltel Corp sure wont help at all and their practices of supporting fraud IS fraud.

Come, you guys. You used to be our heroes and looked out for us. What ever happened? This is robbing people of their emotion and money. Dont let them continue.
