My partner and I came across Survey Scotland online as we needed a home report carried out. When I made contact they could not schedule me in until a further two weeks, I had to pay money upfront before they could schedule me in, which I was happy to do. However, THE DAY BEFORE the surveyor was supposed to come out I get a phone call from Survey Scotland informing me that the surveyor has had to cancel and would have to wait a further two weeks, meaning I would have been waiting a month to get a survey carried out on my property.
I decided to go with another company, who scheduled me in for the next day, and asked this company for a refund, for them to turn around and tell me I would have to wait up to 4 to 8 weeks for the money to go back into my bank account.!!
Funnily enough I was speaking with my sister in law who informed me her friend had used this company, took payment, scheduled her in, day before the surveyor was to come they cancelled, after 2 months she is still awaiting her refund.
As a company this is shocking. They are untrustworthy and very unprofessional and to top everything off it has now been over 4 weeks and I have still not received my money back. This company is scam!!!
