Hi, I am writing to you as there seem to be nobody who can help. I made an appointment on the 19/11/2015 with FlueClean Ltd - http://flueclean.co.uk/contact-us. The trainee employee stayed in my house only for 5 mins and did not provide me with any services. He supposed to come back with a quote for central heating but never did.
Nor on the phone, by email, on the website or when the tradesmen came I was told about any call out charges. Then in December, 2 weeks from the appointment, I suddenly got an invoice at 66 pounds for time and travel. I never paid the invoice as Mr Jimmy Hall did not provide me with any services and I did not agree to pay to call out charges prior to the appointment and the website did not mention any.
I received an "Intention of Court of Summons" on the 14/02/2016 and the letter said I have 14 days to pay. I have not paid and then the Flueclean seemed not to pursue the matter further. I guess Flueclean knew that if it would go to the court it would not get its money as it was asking for it unlawfully. I am very unhappy and feel stressed with the way Flueclean treated me.
I believe now that the letter from Court of Summons was fake. I think a word FRAUDSTER is right name for the company as it tried to get money of me with no right to it. I believe that there are more people treated unfairly by FlueClean LTd. Those vulnerable, unaware of their rights will just pay whatever amount they will be sent on the invoice.
