Fraudulent billing trickery on registration

This company claimed to offer a free DVD hire, by post. I looked at it several months ago and was going to sign up to the service. I then changed my mind at the last minute and did not leave any payment details, or choose any DVD's I wanted. I then spoke to some friends and they have signed up to one of these postal DVD companies.

I chose to look at a few and saw that Screen Select was now doing a free trial, so I thought I would try it for free. I completed all the required information and selected the DVD's I wanted. I then had an email saying there was a problem with my billing information.
It appears that when I had looked at registering previously, an account had actually been set up. This was not brought to my attention when I registered again. I feel something should have flagged up saying "we already have your details", or "you already have an account set up" I have sent various emails to them explaining that I thought I was on a free trial and I would not be charged but they just replayed by sending the same email out to me about not being able to bill me.

I then looked at my credit card account and they have taken 7 payments of 9.99 and I am still getting emails asking me to give them credit card details. There is no contact number and they are not answering any of the questions I have asked them. I have just printed off my credit card statement and the emails they have sent me so I can post it to them to try to get through to someone who will refund me the money they owe.
