Don't trust the post office to deliver on time

I ordered something from the uk at the end of September. I waited and waited for the item and eventually called on 18october to try and find out why I haven't received my parcel. It then turned out it was delivered to Springs post office instead of Dersley (same town) on the 11th of October already. I then went to Springs post office o. The 18th and waited an hour for employees to figure out where my package is after which they said they rooted it to Derlsey post office that day and I should get it there the next morning. It is now the 25th and another week later and no package and also no one can tell me where it is as they are apparently of line. This package was a birthday gift for my husband which is now already one week after his bday. It is really pathetic and so disappointing. I will not trust the post office again
