Ripoff, fraud, disappointed, raised my hopes

I could really have used the $2996.50. I need to move before winter and have bills that need paid and Christmas is coming.

I was lucky. I called the bank which held the account that the check was written on and gave them the account name, check#, routing# and account#. I didn't care about the supposed winnings.

The nice lady at the bank was kind enough to check the account and other info I gave her and let me know that it was definetly a fraudulent check and they had already had reports about it and it was being investigated.

I plan on contacting the company on whos account thte check was drawn too. I looked them up on the internet and they are a legitimate company in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. I want them to know what is going on. Someone is ripping them off too.
