My sister recently was in London on holidays and had booked into the Hilton Olympia for 2 nights (7months previously) and paid for then also. When we went to book in we were told they only had a double room and to up grade to a twin share and it would cost us 15GBP per person per night extra. I put a complaint into the management about this as it had been booked and paid for so long ago, and got an e-mail from a Julie Allen - PA to Barbara Matheson, General Manager, on 11/6, stating that they would give us a refund. I e-mailed back thanking her and informing her that i do not have a credit card and will not give my bank details on the internet so could a cheque be sent to my home postal address in Australia. On returning from holidays - 4/7 - there was still no response from her, so I e-mailed her again on the 6/7 and to date still have had no response. We did not ask for this refund but as it was offered we will take them up on it. Please help us resolve this issue
