Independant book publishers
Unprofessioanal conduct

The matter is quite lengthy but to be brief matters concern the way in which manuscripts have been handled by AuthorHouse. I submitted three manuscripts. They all ended up intermingled by the publishers. Eventually when all sorted out they ended up compositing one manuscript into two books with two different titles, along with material missing from both cover and rear of books. Eventually the original compositor was taken off and a new employee set about destroying my work, setting it up in a childish manner. I pointed out to AuthorHouse that how they had laid out the work was no what one would expect from an academic work but from a children's story book. They refuse to alter the work and when I pointed out that I had laid down specifics as to how the work was to be laid out and that my instructions were consequently ignored, they then went on to ignore me for a number of weeks until I freatened them with court action, then they made a half-hearted response. I have been informed by the County Court that I must first exhaust all means available to sort this matter out before bringing it to due legal process. [email protected]
