Poetry.com, Noble House, Nigel Hillary Publisher Ripoff! Single mother's precious poetry stolen? Leystone, France, New York

I am a single, stay at home mother and my passion until my daughter was born, was writing poetry. It still is a passion in my life. It has always been my dream to one day publish a book with all of my poetry. I do not wish to do it for the money, simply to share my work with fellow poetry lovers of the world.

I had started to publish my peoms on poetry.com, which assures a poet that they will hold the copyright. I believe it's been at least three years since I last published anything on Poetry.com yet just recently I visited my poems on the site and the copyright read as the date I was visiting instead of the actual date I published them there. This concerned me a bit at the time yet I shook it off and eventually thought nothing of it.

Today I received an email from Nigel Hillary, Publisher at Noble House, London, UK; this letter stated that he had the pleasure of reading my work published in their Theatre of the Mind and would like to know if I would submit another poem for their upcoming collection called Colours of the Heart. Thinking nothing of it as before I entered a recent poem of mine called If We Should Say Farewell, and submitted it without ordering a copy.

I then thought, maybe since I've been such a devoted contributor, perhaps they would consent to send me a copy of my published work for free. I clicked the reply button on my mail and composed a polite, heart-felt letter to Mr. Hillary making my request. When I sent the letter it was immidiately sent back to me as address not recognized and undeliverable.

After my letter was returned I got more suspicious and decided to try to find a website for Noble House Publishers to see if there was a way to get in touch with Nigel Hillary. The web results came up and this site was the first on the list. I've read many other reports of fellow poets being ripped off and am horrified!! I now wonder if I have just laid yet another of my heart-felt creations into the hands of a thief. If anyone has any information as to what is really going on PLEASE help me.
