Well... don't we feel foolish after realising that we have also somehow been included in the ''very clever'' shoppersdiscounts.co.uk scam.
Looks as it happened when booking a flight through ebookers - and shoppersdiscounts has happily been removing £10 from the bank account every month ever since.
We phoned the bank who were adamant that ''this is NOT a scam'' - but after insisting they put a stop to this - they were able to connect us to shoppersdiscounts - who immediately terminated the agreement!
How strange that we were not to get through to the shoppersdiscounts phone number directly...(?)
Hopefully this will help others who would like to stop such blatant theft - get on the phone to your bank and shout loudly :)!
