Ever since we switched to fasthosts.co.uk as our host we have always had problems. As a result we have become experts in solving our own problems as their support does not exist (they call it 2nd line engineers but I am sure it is just a phone in an old room somewhere that no one ever visits)
Recently, we spent a lot of time changing our main business. This change has some regulatory implications as well, therefore, This week we had to change our website. In knowledge of this we invested in a new design. When it came to uploading it, impossible. Scared to call fasthosts we tried everything ourselves from changing passwords, new FTP accounts, turning off firewalls and even using different FTP products and even FrontPage extensions, all to no avail.
So, we called, and called again and e-mailed and e-mailed again and so far NOTHING! NOTHING at all apart from automated responses.
It's been a week and we are holding over six months of effort and investment on hold because we are unable to upload content to our website which we pay fasthosts.co.uk to host.
