PAUL NIXON PNPS UK NET GROUP, VELOX HOSTING - VELOX INTERNET
PAUL NIXON PNPS UK NET GROUP, VELOX HOSTING (UK & USA), VELOX INTERNET (UK & USA) False Advertising, Non-delivery of Service, Deceptive Practices, Accepted Money Under False Pretense, Fraud Internet

If you run across any of the companies directed by Paul Nixon of Stoke-on-Trent, UK which include (but most likely not limited to) PNPSUK NET, VELOX HOSTING (UK), VELOX HOSTING (USA), VELOX INTERNET (UK), or VELOX INTERNET (USA) avoid them like the plague!

I, personally, had the misfortune of contracting with one of Paul Nixon's companies and not only can I attest to what is presented here, I have been able to find others whom have had like or similar experience as mine. Since it appears Paul Nixon is not adverse to using fictitious names, the few positive remarks I have run across (and there are only a few) are, most likely, written by Paul Nixon using a fictitious name.

EBay and PayPal discovered, albeit a bit late, that an account opened in the name of Jeff Maplin of Velox Internet was really Paul Nixon in disguise; a person they had problems with a year and a half earlier. Once they discovered this, they cancelled his account, barred him from any further activity, and immediately deleted all his postings. Unfortunately, that did not happen until after some people had already made a purchase and had sent him money such as myself.

The way he operates is to lull his unsuspecting prospects into a sense of comfort and confidence. He responds, almost immediately and in the affirmative, to pre-sales questions, using a variety of pseudonyms so as to make the company appear more substantial by having it appear that there is a staff on hand. Along the same line, he convinces prospects to pay for an annual contract which is offered at an extremely attractive price and which comes with a 30-day money back guarantee sort of a no-risk trial. (Note: On a few web pages that I have managed to uncover, the money-back guarantee time is shown as 7 days. Our contract offered a 30-day money back guarantee.)

For the first 30 days, the service is pretty much as described and emails are responded to in a timely fashion. However, once that money-back guarantee period expires when he knows he has you trapped that's when he begins playing his little game. Email responses took an inordinate amount of time; responses were short, vague, and generally unresponsive to the question (s); and the majority of emails went unanswered altogether. One time I persisted in requesting a response as to the reason there was such a lengthy down time, to which I received an email in which they threatened to block my email for repeatedly contacting them. Next came the sporadic outages which got increasingly more frequent and of increasingly longer duration.

The ploy here, obviously, is to frustrate the customer to the point where the customer throws up his/her hands in disgust and is forced to go out and purchase service elsewhere. Lest this be considered just a time when they got jammed up, I hasten to say this has gone on for several months now. And, it goes without saying, that no refund is, or ever will be, given. He's got your money and you get 30 days of service for an annual fee!

Another interesting point is that this guy, Paul Nixon (who, on some of his sites, is referred to as Sir Paul Nixon sounds impressive doesn't it?), is somewhere in his mid to late teens! I know this since I discovered he is a member of a Youth Group, the name of which I will not disclose here for obvious reasons, whose members are over the age of 14 and under the age of 21!

This person must be stopped from perpetrating his fraudulent practices! Although I am in hopes that law enforcement forces him to cease and desist, the best, and most immediate, way would be to avoid purchasing anything from this person and/or from any of his companies.
