I got two eye glasses from Spercsavers Epping in Essex almost a year. In May this year the bridge of one of the glasses fell off with no apparent reason and Specsavers charged me for replacement. Two weeks after the bridge could not be stable on my nose and I realized the bridge was also washing off /bleaching. I took it to the branch on 9th of September 2013 (Monday) and the staff said they will call me to come for it by weekends. On the Friday 20th of September 2013 I called the branch as I went to the branch to speak with the manager but he was very dismissive and rude. He insisted I have to pay for the bridge. He said the glasses has passed warranty period but I told him I was not talking about the glasses. He said the bridge replacement was refurbished with no warranty. But this was no communicated to me at the time.
I requested for their complaint procedures, but written on a plain paper. Looking at what the manager wrote, the complaint remains within the branch. I left the branch with disappointment while my glasses remain with them.
