We arrived for an 8 night stay in London, UK on the 11 May. As we are in London frequently, we decided to try an apartment instead of a hotel this time to see if it is more suitable for our needs.
We felt that a studios was big enough for the two of us, as we would be out a lot, we had a conference and the one I saw had a lovely couch for visitors, it looked stunning, cosy and immaculate. I like spotless and immaculate. I specifically requested the apartment in the photo, as very often as in this case they put the best photos on the Internet. The place was a little dump, and their is not enough space for me to describe it here. In fairness they upgraded us to another apartment, with its own set of problems, including taking two lifts and walking forever to get to it. The company are not particularly interested in helping, the poor caretaker on duty does what he can, but thereafter his hands are tied. I feel so depressed I cannot wait to get out of here.
