I took a contract phone out with vodafone through P4Y, and I must say that as a business trading and promoting your 'network service' they are an absolute disgrace. Not only do I have a faulty phone, where I have had 4 software updates and repaires for an electrical fault, I also seem to have another persons contact numbers on my phone, including one under the name of 'dick face' which is highly offensive to me. These contact numbers are all from a neighbouring town and I believe that this is SECOND HAND handset. These numbers have been deleted once already but they keep re-appearing everytime I do a software update. Now that my phone has been returned form the rapaires department they can't seem to add my files from my memory card so all pictures/music etc is stuck. When my phone was sent off the first time I asked what service do they have to accomidate me not having a phone for up to 10 days. They told ME I had to PAY out of MY OWN POCKET for a pay as you go phone until mine was returned - WHY I asked, should I when I am paying £35 a mth for a phone that does not work!! They said they would compensate me £15 for me buying another phone - of which I am still waiting on. I have been fobbed off countless of times with various staff, I was even told that a change in management meant my issues were not their fault that the previous manager had not 'managed' my complaint first hand. Upon picking my phone up on 13/12, there were still issues. I went back on my lunch hour (another on top of the many I have wasted) and was told that they need to contact technical support and would call me for an update. I left in 3 hours before leaving work (again) to check on the progress. All 5 sales staff were sat around laughing, and when I confronted them the sales assistance said 'not you again'. I was fuming that he didn't even try to contact me (even though I left 2 contact no's). One issue was solved - apparently the 28 messages on my phone was causing this problem, I was shocked as I have once had almost 500 txts with no issues! I am still waiting for the memory card to update onto my phone. I have a day off tomorrow and no doubt will be in there while I listen to a load of rubbish. This company is only after the sale not the service which should be just as important. STAY AWAY from P4Y otherwise you will spend the rest of your days with a phone you pay for but doesn't work!
