Awaiting refund

I purchased 2 Samsung PL150 cameras from simply electronics on 30th November. This was as a Christmas gift for my 2 daughters. The order was accepted immediately and there was items in stock and I was informed that the items would be dispatched within 7 days. After 10 days the order still had not been dispatched, I called and got the usual apology and the busy during festive period excuse. The item eventually showed as being dispatched on the 13th December. The item eventually turned up on 111th January. Simply electronics blamed the courier who in turn blamed the poor weather. I returned the item still in it's original delivery packaging to the company asking for a refund. According to the courier - the item was delivered back to the company on 19th January - still waiting on my refund. Playing email pingpong with some daft lassie in Hong kong - don't touch this lot with a barge pole - contact BBC watchdog, the more people complain the more something will be done about this.
