I ordered a battery for a Samsung NC10 netbook. So far it is 18 days since my order to laptops-adapter.co.uk and the money being taken via paypal. The payment actually went to a Mr Hui Hua Wu. The company claim that goods will be received within 15 days of the order being placed.
I have heard nothing from the company, have not received the battery and they are not responding to emails. I ordered from them because of the .co.uk web address, believing it to be a UK company. On their web site they describe themselves as UK Laptop-adapters.co.uk. I now know that they are a China based company: nothing wrong in that in itself, except that they do not appear to be honouring their part of the contract or being responsive to requests for information. Hopefully this will resolve itself satisfactorily, but it is not looking good at the moment.
Looks like it may be best to treat them with caution.
By the way, there is a UK based company, laptop-adapter.co.uk, [note the missing 's'] which does seem to be a genuine company, and is located in Hayes, Middlesex, near London.
Will keep this updated should a battery arrive or I get a reply to an email, but I am not optimistic.
