I had some rep come round and quote me after popping into their shop in almondvale centre livingston west lothian. The guy come out and quoted me £350 for blinds i said i would get back to him. Then another guy called me from shades saying we can quote you a better price then quoted me 310.00 i said yes ok then gave my deposit of 120.00 and said that the fitting would be a week on friday. Well thursday come i got a phone call out the blue from the rep he said he would call me back.. He did not i had to call him then he said we have made a mistake in the price and wanted a further 200 hundred on top of what was due. I then called him back and asked are my blinds being fitted tomorrow he said no we will refund your deposit. I have been waiting all week for these to be fitted. Then i called head office the manager said. Our reps miss quoted you, They did not do there job properly and the other rep had lied basically to me about reducing the price then i got told the ultimate and we have not made the blinds. I said what i am due to get fitted to me tomorrow he then said we are walking away froom your order and we will refund you which could take up to a week to clear. So he admitted the reps had done there job wrong, they had miss quoted me they took my deposit did not call me to say they had mis quoted me thru the week then did not tell me they had no intention of fitting the blinds very un happy i feel cheated.
