This morning my mum kindly went down to pollok library to photocopy an a3 page with coloured ink for me as I was busy with work commitments. As she was unsure of how to do so one of the colleagues stepped in to help with the process. Having originally being told it would cost £1 it was then upped to £2 - which is quite expensive compared to 20p for black and white A3. I can understand landscape may be dearer than portrait however not sure if there is a difference in price. This wasn't a hassle however the colleague photocopied the paper portrait when previously told it was to be landscape. He therefore printed it the wrong way. He then proceeded to charge a further £2 for it to be reprinted in landscape which is outrageous as it was his mistake and not the customers. A mistake on his behalf should be covered by the library and not my mum!! Having returned home from work to find this out has completely outraged me and I can't believe library workers are unsure of how to work basic office equipment. Even though it's a small amount of money it's the principle that has shocked me the most.
