I bought my HP dv2000 in 2006. It has broken twice. First time, the screen of notebook flashed and then just stop responce after turning on for about 5 minutes. I checked what is wrong in internet. I found it was because of the design faulty and just need to update the BIOS and some other softwares as well. I installed them and they are ok although the screen still frash occassionally, but at least I can use it again. One month ago, it is totally broken. I cannot swich on my notebook. After press on the power, all LED glow but caps lock and I heard the sound of power fan, but hard drive area is cold. I fowllowed the instruction from HP website to look for the problem. All didnot work. I then sent tens of emails to HP technique support for help and at last they let me diagonse it followed their instruction. It still didnot work. I sent email again if there is any service near my city, then nothing response any more. Then I called them and they forward my phone to technique support and always nobody received my phone and just let me listen to their stupid music. Once one person got my phone, he just donot listen to my talk and ask me call another phone. I called and got nothing but their stupid music. My notebook has broken for over two months, I saved all my data in my hard drive and I have to use notebook to analyze my research results. Oh, my god, what shall I do? Anyone has similar problem and how to sort it out? I will be very appreciated if you would like to share your experience. I hate HP and decide to not buy any product from HP any more.
