I sent my bike in for a service and M.O.T on Friday (26 September). I requested that the drive belt also be replaced. I was quoted around £150 all inclusive. 4 days later and :
1. A rear tyre has been replaced that was perfectly good.
2. I've had the rollers replaced without request.
3. I've had all kinds of lies about ripped out fuel hoses, and a "faulty, " accelerator cable reported.
I asked for nothing to be done about the accelerator cable as the costs now quoted at £350. On my arrival to collect the bike, i was handed a stripped down motorcycle without any of the body parts fixed on, and a bill in excess of £270. I've then had to push it to another motorcycle repair shop who're going to be charging me £120 for the replacement of the now missing "faulty, " accelerator cable, as well as the labour in putting back together all the parts and panels.
