No Service received when Vehicle gave problems

Our rental vehicle didn't want to start, jumped it, went for day out. After switching the vehicle off, we tried to start it again, with no luck. We then decided to rather phone Europcar (customer care number given on paper work). They send RAC battery out, tested battery, reported that we need new battery, nearest place is Swansea, 80 miles out, so suggested a new rental vehicle. After spending 5 Hours on the phone with customer care, NO one seemed willing to help us, no new car, no new battery, didn't care at all. No follow up to check on us, or even to worry about there own vehicle. No consultant was willing to phone us back. They couldn't care what happens to us, even though we are from South Africa. We paid for waivers, additional R6000 ( - 375 pounds) was deducted from my account upon arriving back in SA. Numerous emails and phone calls, still have had no response. This is the worst service i have ever received, and this from a 1st world country. No help, no care... All they said was "sorry, they can't help us" what do you do in a new country with no working vehicle, no one to help or assist you. This is unacceptable. I certainly don't wish this for the next person.
