ROYAL MAIL STAMP PRICE HIKES, QUOTE OVERPAID CEO, "WE AIM TO IMPROVE THE SERVICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS".

Call me a grumpy old man, if you like.

In the 1940/50/60 s, we got three postal deliveries a DAY from a usually smiling postman. Now I am lucky if I get three deliveries in a week, from a usually miserable postman. When I do get a delivery, the letters are bundled in a red band and deliveries can be in the middle of the afternoon . 1st Class next day? forget it.

I f they farm it out to Private Profiteers, we might as well go back to using pigeons
