An individual using the email address of [email protected], contacted me after seeing my resume somewhere. He claimed to be the HR Director of Killik & Co. a very well known investment and stockbroking firm in the UK. The letter had no logo or company details, and the verbiage was almost a direct copy of the landing page for the real KIllik & Co.'s web page, only it was in plain text, and changed slightly. He asked to email him back for a list of current openings, which I did, not yet submitting any personal informatio or details. The details came in a day for an on-line Customer Service Manager. The application and details were also in plain text with no company logo or letterhead. There was a place on the app to put the bank you wanted your direct deposit pay check sent to by email to his gmail address! I contacted the real company in Scotland, and the next day received a letter confirming that this person had no affiliation with Killik & Co, and thanking me for notifying them. They also gave me the correct place to go to apply for a position with them. I will try to attach the application he sent me. Good Luck.
