When checking my bank statement today, I noticed a withdrawal of $59 usdollars - that is 39.77 uk pounds - on feb 18th. The withdrawal came from a company called FLTGRANTINSTITUTE, and my bank told me the contact phone no is 866-459-9072.
I did not authorise this payment, I have had no contact with the company or individual making this claim, and I am appalled that this has happened. How did these fraudster get my bank details, and how can they be stopped from doing it again? Clearly they have done this to many other unsuspecting bank customers and I want it stopped. Now. I also want to find out how to reclaim the amount that was taken from my account without permission.
