I am informing all other potential business minded people of this VC problem that I have been involved. I used a couple of business plan posting sites to seek VC or angel funds, and a claimed VC firm in London contacted me. It all seemed normal at first, and then they asked me to wire them $9750 US to cover my portion of the Due Diligence costs. I did, and not much has happened since. They do not take my phone calls or answer emails sent. I have requested a refund of the $9750 sent, but they do not respond. In the letter received from them, they refund this if funding does not occur.
