I recently applied for a loan with yes loans to pay off a hospital bill, I spoke to a helpful guy who after lots of questions was happy to tell me I would be getting the loan amount I required, he would send out the paperwork for me to sign I had to pay a fee of £69.50, which I paid on my debit card, I was then told I had to sign the forms they would send out and I would have my money within 3 to 5 days. This morning I have had a phone call from another lender whom yes have passed me onto and after going through everything again have been told I am not getting the loan, and that Yes won't give me one either. I haev tried phoning yes to try and get my money back but was on hold for almost half an hour and kept getting told there were 20 people in front of me in the queue. Do I have any chance of getting my money back from them or is last the last I have seen of it and take it as lesson learned.
