Rude and Mocking member of staff

A member of staff did not offer me a student discount, which she then gave to my friend who bought a pair of shoes straight after.
After I pointed out that I was entitled to the discount too, she did not apologise or offer to refund and give me the discount. Rather, she remarked rudely that it was 'sales tactics' not to offer the discount.

I was visibly shocked and declined to reply to this comment, which prompted her to say 'Oh, are you sad? '

I was appalled by her mocking manner and inability to admit her mistake.
I will be thinking twice about returning to Aldo and will take my custom elsewhere.
