Recently bought a Tom Tom device from Due South in Sandton city, on the packaging it is clearly printed that there are 6 local celebrity voices embedded on the device. It was however not on the device and I immediately sent an e-mail to the support team. After numerous e-mails the final answer from Nichole was " I would like to inform you that XL classic, XL IQR2, XL IQR devices are the series of XL device. The leaflet and promotion show the 6 voices are embedded to a XL classic and not the XL IQ Routes 2.Sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you." It is clearly false advertising and legally Tom Tom should admit their mistake and rectify the problem. Be careful not to support Tom Tom.
