Models Direct, Ben Logan, James Monande, Henry Matthew Carter, And Christine Calubayan
Ripoff, stole money that I wired to them, false modeling contract, deceit Norwich internet

I was contacted by Ben Logan in the beginning of August, stating that he was a modeling consultant for Models Direct and was interested in having me come out to London for a fashion show/commercials/billboards. He said that he had seen my profile online and that I had met the criteria for this event.

After I responded that I was interested in hearing more details, he sent me everything I needed to know about this event, along with the contract that stated I would be working August 25-29 for $10, 000.00. He then told me that I would need to pay him a registration fee of $200.00 first, and upon doing that, he would have my flight information overnighted to me. I decided to send that money with the expectation that I would be flying out to London within the week.

After wiring the money through western union to Henry Matthew Carter of Decatur, GA 30032-3322, I was informed that Ben had talked to the head of the company who expressed concern for those models who had not been showing up for their events, and therefore the company was out the money they spent for their flights. So he asked if I could pay for my flight and then everything would be covered past that. I tried to tell him that I literally didnt have $800.00, much less to wire to someone who I didnt know and he then offered to pay for half of it, if I could afford $400.00.

At this time, I was beginning to feel suspicious, so I decided to email the company direct (through their website) to ask them if Ben Logan was actually affiliated with their company, since he had been asking me for money. Within a day I received an email back from Christine Calubayan that stated that Ben WAS with Models Direct and that I should just follow his directions and everything will be fine. I also asked Ben for my hotel reservation/confirmation number so that I could check to make sure he had actually reserved a room for me there, like he said. So he sent me the information and I checked it online and it was there - just like he told me it would be.

After doing these checks, I decided to go ahead and wire the $400.00 to him to cover my half of the plane ticket (through Western Union again to the same person as listed above). After it was picked up, I was told by Ben that I would have my flight information overnighted to me and I would be leaving on the 24th.

Unfortunately, after a couple days of not getting my flight info. I received an email from Ben asking me to send him the extra 400.00 so that he could bump me up to first class. I declined the offer and said to go ahead and book coach. He then replied by saying that his company secretary told him he wasnt allowed to pay for my half of the ticket and I would have to pay the rest, to which I quickly became upset at the fact that this guy was scamming me this whole time.

I asked him to wire my money back, which he said he would do and gave me this information to pick it up through Western Union: (Senders Name: James Monande). He sent me this information twice, and both times I went to pick it up it was a false number. At this point, I cant even get the guy to return my emails, and I am worried that I will not get the $600.00 back that I really didnt have in the first place.
