I booked a helicopter flight for 2 through Wowcher at a cost of £49.50 p/p the trip is advertised on the site at £99 p/p. After the trip was cancelled 3 times, once due to technical problems, once due to the weather & once due to some kind of health & safety certification problem they could not provide me with a new date for the experience. I was informed I could exchange for another experience for the same value yet when I called to do so I was very rudely informed I would have to pay a £7.50 booking fee & my voucher value was £66??? So I would be £40.50 down on what I had originally paid.
The 3 people I spoke to at the company including a manager were all rude, abrupt & unhelpful. I have now had to contact Wowcher to see if they can help as Adventure 001 were no help at all. I wish I had investigated the company before booking as have found various complaints on websites regarding the poor service, extra hidden costs etc. I have booked experiences through other companies such as Red Letter Days etc & never experienced the problems I have had with Adventure 001. Will be warning everyone off ever using their services. Shocking customer service!!
