This is M A K citizen of India but Ashamed to state that as when we reach the airport both the Customs and Immigration Officer look as if we are here in India to feed them lot of money.
They don't know how hard is to earn money about and they don't realize the Problem we have go through. What they all concern is how to make money from NRI's I beg Media and Government to look in these Matter i can Narrate some of the stories i have seen on Airports.
1. When Passenger arrives from Middle East and if he is not so educated Customs officers look them as Dogs. They Produce false Rules and Laws stating that This ITEM is not allowed and that item is not allowed. You have pay these much or give me 5000 or -Rs i will clear you and not only that they kept the Currency Exchange chart daily on their Desk to know the rates, if Passenger pays in US Dollar or UAE Dirham so on. its soooooooooo... Ashamed.
Remember if Money comes easy in these ways it goes faster in others ways like health problems, kids disobeying you and more i dont want to mention. i just want to say these to all those kind of officer if you or your family is stuck in same Scenario IMAGINE.
The Customs Staff won't let passenger pass freely without something in one or other way.
2. Immigration officers in Departure will such stupid question i Dont how they got the job if they don't know International Immigration Laws.
Especially They keep Visa's of Passenger for Middle East and stamps the passport and new passenger stuck in new International Venue with out Visa.
The rude behavior how they talk to passengers as he or she had done a crime if they are traveling. WOW
FAMILIES ARE CRYING ON AIRPORTS AFTER GIVING ALL THE DOCUMENTS AND PAYING SEVERAL PAYMENTS ON DEMAND OF IMMIGRATION OFFICER OR ELSE THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FLY BECAUSE THE ARE UNEDUCATED AND POOR.
THIS ARE JUST VERY LITTLE LIST OF complaints.
I WISH AND HOPE THAT MEDIA AND OFFICIALS WILL DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ELSE THE TIME IS NEAR WHEN YOU AND YOUR FAMILY CAN STUCK IN THESE SAME SITUATION AND THERE WOULD BE NOBODY TO HELP.
