Tyntesfieldestate.com
False information

When you think of Tyntesfield (Wraxall, North Somerset) you think of a beautiful house and grounds which makes a great day out for anyone. But are there lies beneath this and do the National Trust be fully honest about the way they work and treat staff. Well after reading pages on the website 'tyntesfieldestate.com' I am not completely sure what to believe.

I read articles on this website and see one of them named 'National Trust staff set fire to badger set' which horrifies me, yet I think to my self do they really do this? Because as I read deeper I am swayed more towards the conclusion that the editorial staff having a rant at the National Trust as oppose to them telling us interesting stories that could be believable.

So what do I believe - are the trust killing badgers and ruining the place or is the editorial team over speculating everything and spreading rumors to attempt to kill the trust at Tyntesfield? - something I really want to find out.

And to add more food for thought - one member of the public disagrees with the website team and sends an email to them outlining this - they then break all editorial policies by posting his messages on the internet with all his information. I think this might just be someone having a rant.

And to conclude my letter - I ask about how reliable are things we read and how can we test the media's reliability since is seems so easy for them to attempt to kill an organisation like the National Trust - you hear about it on a large scale yet don't believe that this all happens locally to us, hence emailing you. I think the public should be aware that what they read may not be true and we should question everything with an integral mind if we don't want to be mislead, even when we are talking about local issues.
