This person advertised on itsmymarket.com wanting a loving home for his 12 week old puppy. He responded to my email stating his daughter had recently been killed in an accident and he could no longer look after the puppy. The original advert said that he was in Romford Greater London UK. His second email suddenly located him in the Isle of Man and he wanted to arrange for the puppy to be delivered to us via a courier service for 160 - he no longer wanted the 130 that she was orginally advertised for.
There are other posts on this site pertaining to a scam involving animal couriers and I believe this is just another scam.
Google the postcode that they send you before sending any money. I received no reply when I said that I would pay cash on delivery.
My partner and I felt suspicious from the beginning but couldn't work out what the scam was as we had not been asked for any money at this stage. I have received a similar email from another advertiser on itsmymarket.com once again offering puppies from a UK address suddenly to relocate to Northern Ireland and offering the same arrangement for delivery of the puppy. Her address is cited on this site by someone else who wanted a puppy but under a different name. Fortunately we did not part with any money so had a lucky escape!
