The IIB (Institute For Independant Business)
Please beware

Should you come across an advertisement, stating you join the IIB, in terms of being 'accredited', be warned.

One of the primary causes of concern is the initial non-disclosure of a material fact... the fact that you need to pay a large fee in order to join.

Non-disclosure of ANY material fact, relevant to making ANY transaction is a direct violation ANY Code of Business Ethics.

Please read all of the previous articles, in respect of this company (IIB).

I understand that certain persons may find confrontation threatening... clearly I do not.

I will not repeat what has been said in previous articles, so instead I will display the correspondance I sent them, after being greatly dissapointed by their scheme:

"Notwithstanding the fact your 'executives' knew I was traveling some distance in order to attend the 'seminar', you failed to mention during the course of our correspondance via e-mail, that there was an exorbitant fee included.

In my area of specialization, non-disclosure of material facts, prior to solicitation of clientele/inductees, is known as 'non-disclosure'. This is a direct violation of the Code of Good Business Practice, which for your
sake, I hope your 'accreditation' has equipped you with.

This is further aggravated by the fact that the material fact I am referring to (the fee of R123 000.00 excl. V.A.T) was and is obviously a primary factor in the decision making process of persons interested in
your offering.

All I ask, is that you kindly re-imburse my time and traveling costs.

I also intend laying a direct complaint with the
Financial Services Board and any Ombudsman or Regulatory Body I deem fit and proper in analysing this scenario."

So people who have been ripped off by the IIB have no recluse but to protest.
United we stand.

End corruption
