Email notice of a Lottery Prize

I received an email notifying me that I won a lottery prize, of about 500, 000 pounds. It was suspicious looking, without any identifying company or business name. I responded. In response I was told to contact a courier service, TNT Courier Service, and ask for their courier cost. From this last response, I checked on the company to see if it exists. It doesn't.
