While I was viewing my e-mails, I had advertising BANNER which was for whiting teeth. I clicked on this advert and found to be very attractive and at a very cheap price. I placed a order and when I clicked to order the cost of the product went from around £2 to £8. I still went ahead and ordered as there was no way to go back on this order. WhenI received my credit card statement, I noticed first item for around £9 (that included exchange rate charges etc) charge from Dazzlesmile and a week later another charge for £42 and a week later £54 by Smile Brite. Altogether charged to my credit card was around £100. I straight away contacted my credit card company who advice me cancell my credit card and reissued me with another one. They also sent me investigation form which I completed and sent it off to my credit company. I am hoping that they will be able to stop this payment to these companies and refund me my money.
It seems that this company takes your credit card details and then charge more than what you have agreed.
It there no law to stop this company doing this?
