I recieved and installed a windows xp service pack 3 update from microsoft to find that afterwards non of my msn hyperlinks worked
and i could no longer access windows update nor could i download any fixes from microsoft as all there download links opened error 401.
after spending nearly a week trying to find out what was happeniong to my pc i tried to system restore only to find that it would not restore to any date. i also tried to unistall msn messenger and reinstall but this failed because i could not uninstall as windows installer was no longer present on the pc.
so i phoned the msn call centre who after twenty minutes told me that it was an xp error and put me on hold. after about 10 minutes i was put throught to an xp advisor who told me it was an msn problem.
when i tried to explain to the gentleman that i had been tranferred from msn to him he hung up on me mid sentence.
i have since failed to reinstate messenger. i cannot update my system.
and i cannot even defragment my system as that appears to be not working either.
i have tried to complain directly to microsoft but cannot find were to complain to as they don, t appear to have a complaints email address
