First of let me comment in saying that the game play of this game is not in question. The game itself lends hours of entertainment with many different activities that are not structured in a way that forces you to accomplish 1 level before proceeding to another. The game play itself is not the problem. The problem is with the in game moderators and the poorly trained staff that the company hires or elects to represent it in certain matters.

I have yet to be contacted my anyone listed on their so called company directory. I have had my account canceled erroneously, I have had overcharges on accounts and I have had items stolen from my account without any apparent breach of security on my own personal computer. I did a thorough sweep of my computer to verify this and it would appear that it has happened due to lack of safeguards on their servers.

Since I confronted them with possible civil litigation they have refused to answer emails from me. I did get them to refund me for 1 month that they botched during erroneously canceling my account. Since the lack of email response I inquired a moderator within the game asking questions about Jagex and requesting information. I initially started this inquiry in private.

The moderator insisted that I speak in public chat and as a result I was banned for supposedly abusing Jagex staff even though I was only stating opinions and asking questions. I never once said anything discourteous to the moderator herself.

So now I enter this appeal process and as others have described it, is poorly equipped to handle all the possibilities and explanations. I also have problems with the "snapshot" of the conversation because the entire conversation is not included. It usually sounds one sided as there is generally only one side being displayed. It does not adequately relate to the context of the entire conversation. So comments made to other people talking look like part of a single conversation.

This company has cost me according to websites that offer the amount of RS gold over 200US dollars in items and the time to accumulate these items plus the aggravation of having to deal with a poorly run customer service dept. I would strongly caution anyone wanting to advertise or do business with these people as my experience with them seems to be just one of many similar circumstances. Perhaps a civil action or a class action might send them the wakeup call they so desperately require.
