I ordered an online shopping delivery on 24.11.12 for delivery on the 25.11.12 between 6pm & 8pm. at 8:05pm still no delivery, i phoned the service centre and was told to phone back at 830pm so i did. Still no shopping, next person could not contact anyone at the store, the 3rd person i contacted had the store contact the driver and call me back in which they did, where i was told that the driver could not get in, and nor get a hold of me when asda had been calling my mobile without a problem this whole time.
After being told by the service team that according to the system my order was in the van for delivery but the store tells me that all the drivers were back now and home for the night.
during the delivery time requested i was in my study (which is next to the front door) the entire time waiting to make it wouldn't be missed and my flat looks out onto the street.
My girlfriend had a delivery here on Wednesday which we had no issues with.
This is now the second time in a row this has happened, Last time i waited until 1130pm because i was assured my shopping would be delivered and then found out when i complained in at this time that it was marked as "delivered" and was then found in the office!!! I was promised a delivery the next morning, there was no delivery by lunchtime. I then was told at 130pm there was a van problem and someone would deliver it in a car within 30 minutes...at 330pm there was still NO DELIVERY.
it eventually took an hour to get a hold of someone and get my order cancelled and refund issued.
THIS IS ALL COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE, NEVER BEFORE HAVE I SEEN THIS KIND OF RIDICULOUS SERVICE.
this really does show that customer complaints are not paid attention too, you would think that after the first major problem that next time the store would ensure that it wouldn't happen again next time!
