Ordered the above washer on 06th January for delivery on Thursday 20th Jan. On Wednesday 19th January when I got home at 19.30 hr I had a message on my answerphone saying the item had arrived damaged and the order had been cancelled. Which was a shame as the old washer (Leaking but still working) was picked upon Tuesday 18th January - so effectively I had no washer. Phoned told by foriegn gentleman that MY washer was damaged - pointed out that it could not be the only washer in the country and asked them to send me another one - I was told it was out of stock. In the mean time VAT had been increased which is why I believe they cancelled the order rather than sending a new one. Noticed that the promised total refund was not on my statement on 07th February - contacted the call centre to point out the £18.50 delivery charge hadn't been refunded. The foreign girl who answered said that it had - a lively argument ensued - with me saying I could see all transactions on my computer screen and that it wasn't there - She told me to phone Barclaycard - I pointed out that they were likely to say the same as me as they would look at the same screen - she was very very rude. Contacted Barclaycardthey confirmed that the delivery charge had not been refunded - contacted the call centre again to confirm they still owed me money. She said they would contact me back - pointed out that as she had not asked for my works phone number she would be unable to do so. Gave her the correct number to contact me on the next day. Call received on MY ANSWERPHONE AT HOME!!! that the money had now been refunded with no apology on the 10th February - ABSOLUTELY AND UTTERLY BLOODY DISGRACEFUL - Do not ever buy anything from this company - I deserve compensation.
