I hired a washer off the company 'D.p. Domestics' last October. I got behind on payment at the begining on this year and the washer suddenly stopped working. When i rung about it they said 'we can't send engerineer out till you have your payment that you owe plus the money for that week'.they came out and i paid them and it started workin again as they used something to turn it on.
I went to put washing machine on on '22/03/07' and it was doing the same as it did last time. I've got behind by 30 odd and when i rung them they said they couldn't come out till i can pay plus this week and next week so therefore wanting me to pay for the washer even thou it is not working and they are aware of it so therefore they are collecting the washer and told me 'i shouldn't have hired it if icouldn't pay for it'.
i have a 2 yr old child n recievin benifits and recently had to change my circumstances so not been paid for a couple of weeks the company are aware of this and they just replyed 'not our problem'! I would like to no my rights on this matter please!
