Elcell Communications Ltd use eBay as their main platform to conduct sales. Their website contact information guides potential customers to their eBay pages and it is clear to see that a good percentage of e_cell (eBay ID) business is drummed up through this auction site.
Because they have a good feedback rating I chose to purchase an I-Pod on the 25th Septmeber 09 for my daughter-in-law's Birthday. I waited the 7-10day delivery time stated on the auction page. The item had not arrived so I e-mailed the seller twice over a period of 3 days.
On 7th October I received a delivery notification (but no personal response). Another weeks passed so I contacted e_cell again in regards to the whereabouts of my item. Again, I was ignored. Before opening a dispute with eBay/PayPal I wrote to two more buyers who had purchased the same item on the same day... they had also been provided with a consignment number... and yet [the same as me] - no delivery either to any of us! It is also not possible to track any of our individual items.
It seems clear that (unless all three independently posted items to three different customers have gone missing in the post) e_cell are providing false delivery information. I requested proof of posting before proceeding with any further action... it was not supplied and again my communication was ignored.
...to date PayPal is reviewing my escalated claim.
I realise this is a fairly standard problem with eBay. However, I am reporting this company so that others do not fall victim to their practices. They sell many hundreds of cheap phone accessories for a few GBP ('s) each which makes them look like a favourable option when taken at face value on eBay feedback... However, when you look closer at the remarks e_cell receive there are either huge delivery delays or non receipt claims for almost every expensive item they sell. See the following link:

I have given this company every opportunity to resolve this matter in an honest and professional manner. I sincerely hope that this [additional] internet post is a warning to all those deciding to make a purchase with Elcell Communications Ltd (Tel:01614083832).
