I was shopping around for a new high power PC and eventually came to PC specialists web page that promised the PC of my dreams. After outlining the PC that I wanted, lots of money (2000 plus) changed hands and I was sent my new PC.
This is when things went wrong- the PC arrived with several components not installed correctly (the soundcard being one, causing lots of BSODs)- 'ok' I thought, after taking a deep breath I fixed them and promptly installed Crysis. Admittedly it looked fantastic on my 42 inch TV, and for a few weeks my life was full of joy untill the RAM failed. It was lucky I purchased a years warranty and soon all was well again untill today, exactly one year and seven days later (seven days out of warranty) when the PSU failed. Now PC Specialist have washed their hands of it and I am left with a large silver door-stop.
This company is annoying because it has things almost right- the web page plus customer backup are great, but when you fall out from under the warranty thier shoddy work will cost you dear as its YOU that foots the bill trying to get it repaired somewhere else.
In short, buy elsewhere! Avoid them or suffer!
