Taken money for matrimony service, but no service provided as promised

I was promised by an agent of this company Mr Vijayakumar that the company has many profiles of elite bride from india, whose details will be given on paying the membership fee of US $1100 and apersonal relationship manager will contact immediately to liase with the prospective parties. however almost a weak gone no one contacted me. Now I understand this is a bogus company cheating inocent consumers by false marketting. Hope action will be taken to stop such companies conning consumers.
