High Pressure Sales: My Brother -in-law and myself went into the Jadason Digital Shop in Hong Kong shop with the intention of pricing an Apple Ipad however, during conversation with the salesman (Oscar, If we wanted a higher specification at a reasonable cost then produjced the Vinus Tablet.By this time aaround 4 people were around trying to sell the benefits. I said I wanted a 32 GB and was told that was no problem. The demonstration was given on a new tablet taken from the box, however this was subsequently taken in to the back shop and they re-appeared with another - It was taken from the box for ease of packing to take home. They also went into the hard sell regarding a Nakimich Videa Camera which I subsequently bought and both my Brother-in-law and myself bought the Vinus Tablet at what we now know to be an inflated price - £350.00 GBP each, we coulod have bought an Apple Ipad for less. A tablet case purported to be leather was given with the tablet inside. Now home in the UK, discover that the 32gb must have been swapped for a 16gb and the screen was all scuffed.
We had just been travelling throughout China and found the people we met very honest and helpful however this incident in Hong Kong does not leave a good impression of the city.
